The Historic London Town & Gardens is a beautiful 23 acre park on the South River in Edgewater MD. On November 4th they are hosting their Fall Garden Ramble, which will feature musicians performing on different areas around the property and invite guests to stroll around the gardens and enjoy the music, while enjoying themed cocktails. Featured musicians will include Danny Stewart, members of the Folk Villains, and yours truly!
The park is owned by Anne Arundel County and managed by the non-profit London Town Foundation, which is “responsible for developing and conducting interpretive, recreational, and educational programs that allow visitors to learn about our historical, archaeological, and horticultural offerings.” Their mission is to inspire “present and future generations to a deeper understanding of the past, the environment, and our shared humanity.” I grew up not terribly far from here, so I’m excited to learn more about the history of this area.
