September 12th 5:30-9:00 pm
When the charm of one of the most beautiful historic neighborhoods in DC meets the talent of 200+ artists and 40+ local businesses and organizations, you get Art All Night in Georgetown. Each September the community comes out to enjoy Art, Dance, Music, Dining, and Culture for Georgetown Main Street’s biggest event of the year.
I’ll be playing Bluegrass with fiddler Mari Carlson at Georgetown Lutheran Church, 1556 Wisconsin Ave NW. Our set is from 8pm-9pm and we’ll be playing our own takes on our favorite traditional Appalachian, bluegrass, and country classics.
At events like this there is no shortage of variety and different points of view. Showcase locations along Wisconsin Ave will feature work from artists all disciplines, bringing influences from all corners of the world. Our stage alone will feature French Classics, Latin Fusion, and Bluegrass:
6:00 PM: The Panachays
7:00 PM: No Land
8:00 PM: Mari Carlson & Justin Heath
I love participating in these events that invite different creators from the community to share their work. It’s really special to see the creativity, talent, and diversity that thrives in DC, and I’m happy to be one of the people contributing to the cultural life of the city where I live.
This is a free event so no tickets or RSVP are required but for more info on Art All Night click here.
I hope to see you there!
